FAM #3 - Honorary Cajun - Immersed in Local Flavor & Culture

Fly into MSY, the new New Orleans Louis Armstrong International Airport and be transported to nearby River Parishes. Here, our Creole and Cajun heritages fused together to create a distinct Southern culture with a collection of gems extending along both banks of the Mississippi River. Roots go deeper here with narratives about plantation life that are ever-changing, emotional, and inspiring.  Not far south, visit the famous wetlands of Louisiana in and around Houma, where we will visit an alligator farm while taking in the excellent seafood, sights and hospitality of Louisiana’s Bayou Country. From Houma, take a short drive to Jefferson Parish, home of big-city amenities set among nature and a small-town feel.  Shopping and fishing villages are close to each other. End your voyage by taking a short drive to the center of New Orleans where you’ll spend three fun-filled days with your Travel South friends.
