FAM #8 - 72 Hours in Sweet Home Alabama, Central Alabama

In Selma walk across the Edmund Pettus Bridge and see the hotel where outlaws Frank and Jesse James stayed. Travel to Montgomery for the 66th weekend anniversary of the Montgomery Boycott Montgomery where Dr. Martin Luther King preached and Rosa Parks was arrested. See the National Memorial to Peace and Justice. Montgomery is the mid-point between New Orleans and Nashville.

Then to Alabama’s largest city, Birmingham for a two-night stay. Big city means big Saturday night followed by Sunday services at the historic 16th Street Baptist Church. Later view the world’s largest motorcycle collection housed in a five-story museum.
