Get Your Kicks on Route 66

St. Louis is the largest city along Route 66 between Chicago and Los Angeles, and there are many “must-sees” and related sites along The Mother Road as it transverses through the region.  We will start at the Missouri History Museum, you’ll have a private curator talk while viewing snippets from the Route 66 in Missouri documentary.

Next at the Museum of Transportation, travel through 150 years of motorized history.  The museum features more than 300 moving vehicles including locomotives, streetcars, rate and classic automobiles and trucks as well as a cool Coral Court room façade from Route 66.

You final stop will include a sweet treat from Ted Drewes Frozen Custard, a St. Louis tradition since 1929, with its specialty “concrete” that is so thick you can turn it upside down.  This historic St. Louis establishment is one of the most stories stops along Route 66.
