While overall visitation is down, growth is expected from India, Japan, and Brazil. Top source markets include Canada, India, the U.K./Ireland, DACH region, and China. Virginia’s international appeal is supported by $22 billion in annual goods exports and over 21,000 international students.
Connectivity through Washington-Dulles International Airport, which offers nonstop service to 61 global destinations, enhances access. Travel South USA marketing initiatives and regional proximity further strengthen Virginia’s ability to attract high-value global travelers.
