“There are more kinds of creatures and plants occupying every inch of space in our state than you can find in any other state in the nation. Alabama’s hills and valleys rank among the most biodiverse spots on Earth.”

Author and environmental journalist Ben Raines presents his decades-long exploration and explain why the vast Mobile-Tensaw Delta is called “America’s Amazon.” Participants will discover first-hand the flora and fauna of the Delta aboard a boat tour with Historic Blakeley State Park director, Mike Bunn.

Delegates can select up to 3 tours: a morning, a lunch, and an afternoon tour.
