As Chief Operating Officer at Travel South USA, Meredith Wilkes oversees the organization’s daily operations and ensures excellence across finance, marketing, human resources, and board governance. Her key responsibilities include payroll, benefits administration, board correspondence, vendor contracting, and internal communications. Her leadership ensures the organization operates with transparency, fiscal responsibility, and a strong team culture.
In addition to her operational role, Meredith provides senior management support for the U.S. Civil Rights Trail Marketing Alliance, ensuring legal and fiscal compliance and strengthening relationships with tourism offices and alliance stakeholders.
A Georgia native, Meredith earned her BBA in Business Management from Kennesaw State University in 2006, followed by an MBA in 2012. With a sharp eye for detail and a passion for organizational excellence, she plays a critical role in shaping the internal structure and long-term success of Travel South USA.
