Georgia’s international visitor economy is forecasted to generate $1.7 billion from 1.2 million visitors in 2025, down 5% and 9% respectively from 2024.
Despite this dip, the state remains a regional powerhouse, driven by strong air connectivity via Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and $53 billion in annual goods exports. India, Brazil, and Japan are expected to grow, while Canada is forecasted to decline by 20%.
Georgia attracts high-value travelers through strategic marketing partnerships and access to Southern experiences across neighboring states. The state also benefits from 28,175 international students and top origin markets like the UK, DACH, Canada, and South Korea.
