Travel the roads of tradition to the home of music legends and world-famous Kentucky cuisine for a rhythmic sampling of Kentucky Blues, BBQ and moonshine. Owensboro, steeped in rich music history, is the homeplace of The Father of Bluegrass Music, Bill Monroe, and the location of the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum. You’ll want to hear more about his indelible creation.
Kentucky's fascinating history is reflected and preserved in architecture, engaging attractions and dynamic neighborhoods, including Historic Downtown of Paducah and Lower Town Arts District. You’ll be inspired within this haven of creative thinkers and doers, designated one of nine UNESCO Creative Cities in the United States.
Head east for a fast getaway to Bowling Green and the National Corvette Museum. Not only will guests have a one-of-a-kind Corvette experience in Bowling Green, but this cosmopolitan university town has a flourishing cultural scene, great shopping, and dining.
The blues isn’t the only time we hear brass instruments enjoy a “Call to Post” and a gander through “Horse Country”. No trip to Kentucky is complete without enjoying a bite of hickory-smoked barbecue mutton, sampling some of Kentucky’s finest bourbons, and exploring our ties to the roots of bluegrass music.
