Dalaney Thomas is the Director of Tourism within the Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage and Tourism. She has more than nine years of destination marketing experience, previously serving as Account Manager for Arkansas Tourism and Oaklawn, Hot Springs. She has managed the creation and implementation of innovative creative campaigns, paid media strategies, nationwide public relations endeavors, social media content strategies, partnerships, and cooperative initiatives.
 
Thomas currently serves on the Easter Seals Guardians Board. She was recognized as a talented young leader in Arkansas’ business and nonprofit community in 2019 when she was named to the Arkansas Business “20 in Their Twenties” class, which garners more than 300 nominations. Arkansas Money and Politics named her among its Top 100 Professionals in 2022.
 
She holds a bachelor's degree in communications with a minor in business administration from Ouachita Baptist University.
