Innovation was on fire at the newly revamped Travel South USA co-op program during Global Week. The Ultimate Innovation Challenge invited more than 40 media vendors to offer state tourism offices marketing, advertising and event promotional opportunities that leverage multi-state participation. The competition is designed to bring out the very best ideas in creativity, innovation, and measurement to inspire travel and visitation to and within the 12-member states. After reviewing 34 proposals from Domestic and Global vendors, the top seventeen vendors were selected to present at the annual event on April 20, in Atlanta. Over $2 Million worth of programming was purchased, the highest amount in the program’s 16-year history.
