Australia and New Zealand travel to the U.S. softened in September, though engagement with Travel South USA remained strong. More than 40 million media impressions and 114 trained agents reinforced regional awareness amid inflation-driven value sensitivity.

Benelux
September brought strong engagement for Travel South USA in the Benelux despite a soft travel market. Ten new media articles spotlighted Southern states, a three-day Visit USA Roadshow reached 150 travel agents, and social growth continued with higher interaction and visibility across Facebook and Instagram.

Brazil
Travel South USA’s Brazil program advanced momentum in September with 14 trade and 5 media meetings, engaging 265 agents and generating 1.1 million impressions. Media coverage remained strong with 30 articles published, highlighting Southern destinations’ cultural depth and travel value.

Canada
Travel South USA maintained a strong presence in Canada through 22 media meetings, 7 trade calls, and a successful media mission engaging 12 top journalists. Coverage emphasized Michelin-star storytelling, cultural authenticity, and Southern hospitality, generating over 122,000 impressions.

France
September showcased renewed momentum in France as B World Communication strengthened Travel South USA’s trade and media footprint. Engagements included preparations for the 2025 International Showcase and planning for the 2026 Pan-European Roadshow in Paris.

India
India’s outbound travel market continued to surge in September, positioning the U.S. as the top long-haul destination. Travel South USA gained visibility through earned media, trade outreach, and new digital channels, including the launch of TSUSA India’s Facebook and Instagram pages.

Italy
Travel South USA achieved robust visibility in Italy through 16 trade meetings, 21 media articles, and 38.5 million impressions. Hopscotch advanced partnerships with America World, Going, and Volonline, launching co-marketing itineraries such as Bluegrass & Bourbon Trail and Missouri Iconic Sites & Local Bites.

Nordic Union
September delivered meaningful engagement across Nordic markets, anchored by FDM Travel’s influencer road trip through Georgia and the Carolinas. Preparations for Brand USA and Discover America events in Oslo, Helsinki, and Stockholm were finalized, with five Nordic buyers confirmed for Travel South Showcase 2025.
